A full-days workshop designed to cover multiple weeks worth of Screen Combat Fundamentals training to build and refine your unarmed skills in Fighting For Film. ๐ท LEVEL: Perfect For Beginners, New Stunt Trainees, Fight Performers, aspiring Action Actors or SPACTS! ๐ฅ WHAT TO EXPECT: MORNING - TECHNICAL TRAINING Get hands-on with stand up striking and ground fighting based screen fighting skills: -Striking & fight scene flow -Stacking basic hits & contact control drills -Blocking techniques to show defensive prowess -Ground fighting break falls, hits and submission lock holds AFTERNOON โ THROWS AND HIT REACTIONS Learn to react like the pros: -Takedowns & throws - Learn how to throw and land safely -BIG reactions & wrecks - Develop how to elevate your hit reactions safely with fundamental wreck techniques ๐ฅ END OF DAY - * SIMPLE FILMED SHORT FIGHT SCENE PERFORMANCE - Learn to combine and test the physical skills learned throughout the day with performance and acting into a choreographed fight scene -Perform your scenes back to the class for feedback and further development -Filmed to review after the intensive or for use in building your first basic showreel fights! ๐ฅ WALK AWAY WITH: -Confidence and an expanded Fighting For Film skillset! -Understand screen combat terminology used on set by fight and stunt choreographers -Build toward higher level screen combat training -Readiness to take on your first screen fighting opportunities! -BONUS *Filmed short choreographed fight sequence to add to your first showreel!

Cancellation Policy
Intensives & Workshops: Take 3 Action Academy does not permit exchanging between different courses (i.e changing from a Fundamental Workshop to a Screen Combat Intensive) as the levels of experience required differ and spaces are limited. Due to the limited number of space in each Intensive, Workshop and Class refunds will be rewarded in accordance with the following guidelines; - Cancellations made more than 7 days before an Intensive Workshop start date will be subject to a refund of 100% - Cancellations made within 7 days but no later than 2 days before an Intensive Workshop will be subject to a 50% refund. - Cancellations made within less than 2 days before an Intensive, Workshop or Class start date will not be subject to a refund and fees will be forfeited by the customer. If you are paying for a Class/Course with an Instalment Plan, all payments are non-refundable and bookings are non-transferable. Please make sure you are available for the entirety of an Intensive Workshop before booking. Footage: Footage taken and filmed for showreel purposes will be subject to a quality review with the coordinator / choreographer on the day. Participants will be given selected 'best' takes and edit. Participants will not be entitled to all takes or raw footage. Additional footage may be given to participants at the choreographers sole discretion.
