In this Fundamental Workshop, we will be focusing on the Choreographic and Performance aspects of Screen Combat. Inspired by the action films and TV shows we all know and love, this Workshop will challenge you to choreography using Swords!! Choreography can differ greatly depending on the Fight Choreographer, the style of the shot being filmed, and so on. This means as a performer you need to be adaptable and understand what the crew is looking to create. This Fundamental Workshop will aid you in developing your ability to pick up choreography and combine it with performance! Join us for this epic workshop and learn how to make your performance seem violent and realistic on screen!! For this Workshop, think of productions such as '300', 'Game of Thrones' and 'Gladiator'. NOTE: You can do the Fundamental Workshops in any order and any combination of weapon systems as you wish. For example, you do not have to do both the Techniques & Reactions and the Choreography & Performance Workshop for Swords, rather you can do one Choreography & Performance Workshop in Swords and do an Unarmed Techniques & Reactions Workshop, etc. NOTE: You can do the Fundamental Workshops in any order and any combination of weapon systems as you wish. For example, you do not have to do both the Techniques & Reactions and the Choreography & Performance Workshop for Swords, rather you can do one Technique & Reactions of Swords and do an Unarmed Choreography & Performance Workshop, etc.

Cancellation Policy
Intensives & Workshops: Credit is no longer available with Take 3 Action Academy should you cancel a booking. All credit given before 1st June 2023 will still be valid until the given 6-month expiry date. Take 3 Action Academy does not permit exchanging between different courses (i.e changing from a Fundamental Workshop to a Screen Combat Intensive) as the levels of experience required differ and spaces are limited. If you wish to transfer your booking to another date please email hello@take3action.com. An Admin Fee of £15 will be charged for all Intensive and Workshop transfers. If you have purchased a Standard Ticket, you are allowed to transfer your course up to 7 days before the Intensive or Workshop start date. Due to the limited number of space in each Intensive, Workshop and Class refunds will be rewarded in accordance with the following guidelines; - Cancellations made more than 14 days before an Intensive, Workshop or Class start date will be subject to a refund of 100% - Cancellations made within 14 days but no later than 7 days before an Intensive, Workshop or Class will be subject to a 50% refund. - Cancellations made within 7 days before an Intensive, Workshop or Class start date will not be subject to a refund and fees will be forfeited by the customer. If you are paying for a Class/Course with an Instalment Plan, all payments are non-refundable and bookings are non-transferable. Please make sure you are available for the entirety of an Intensive, Workshop or Class before booking.
