Join Team T3 at the beautiful Chisenhale Dance Studio and get to grips with two epic weapons - Knife & Eskrima Sticks!! This day will focus on the Choreography and Performance elements of screen combat! Both Knife and Eskrima Sticks have extremely versatile techniques and so by mastering these at a fundamental level, you will be able to pick up other weapons faster in the future. This also means that the weapon systems can transfer into real-world weapons such as hammers, crowbars, wrenches, baseball bats, and many more!! Over the day, our Instructors will lead you through a series of choreographic elements and work with you to better your performance. This will range from physicality to your vocals and through to facial expressions. Each is as important as the other!! A fight sequence can never be realistic on screen without the actor's performance so this workshop is not one to be missed, trust us. At Take 3 we have seen a massive improvement in performers who have done the fundamentals and so highly encourage both experienced performers and those looking to get into the industry, to get involved!! NOTE: You can do the Fundamental Workshops in any order and any combination of weapon systems as you wish. For example, you do not have to do both the Techniques & Reactions and the Choreography & Performance Workshop for Swords. Rather you can do one Choreography & Performance Workshop in Eskrima & Knife and do a Sword Techniques & Reactions Workshop, etc.

Cancellation Policy
Intensives & Workshops: Credit is no longer available with Take 3 Action Academy should you cancel a booking. All credit given before 1st June 2023 will still be valid until the given 6-month expiry date. Take 3 Action Academy does not permit exchanging between different courses (i.e changing from a Fundamental Workshop to a Screen Combat Intensive) as the levels of experience required differ and spaces are limited. If you wish to transfer your booking to another date please email hello@take3action.com. An Admin Fee of £15 will be charged for all Intensive and Workshop transfers. If you have purchased a Standard Ticket, you are allowed to transfer your course up to 7 days before the Intensive or Workshop start date. Due to the limited number of space in each Intensive, Workshop and Class refunds will be rewarded in accordance with the following guidelines; - Cancellations made more than 14 days before an Intensive, Workshop or Class start date will be subject to a refund of 100% - Cancellations made within 14 days but no later than 7 days before an Intensive, Workshop or Class will be subject to a 50% refund. - Cancellations made within 7 days before an Intensive, Workshop or Class start date will not be subject to a refund and fees will be forfeited by the customer. If you are paying for a Class/Course with an Instalment Plan, all payments are non-refundable and bookings are non-transferable. Please make sure you are available for the entirety of an Intensive, Workshop or Class before booking.
