Join Team T3 at the beautiful Chisenhale Dance Studio and get to grips with two epic weapons - Knife & Eskrima Sticks!! Both Knife and Eskrima Sticks have extremely versatile techniques and so by mastering these at a fundamental level, you will be able to pick up other weapons faster in the future. For example, Eskrima Sticks share very similar techniques to certain swords. Eskrima is also known as Anis or Kali! This Filipino Martial Art is a brilliant base of techniques. Eskrima is a style of combat used frequently in film & TV productions as it can be transferred into multiple weapons, the Knife also being one of them! You will be put through a series of drills throughout the day to ensure that you understand the techniques of each weapon. The Instructors will work with you on your reactions so that when you get to filming at an intensive or even on set, your performance is as realistic and believable as possible. The Fundamentals are not to be missed! At Take 3 we have seen a massive improvement in performers who have done the fundamentals. NOTE: You can do the Fundamental Workshops in any order and any combination of weapon systems as you wish. For example, you do not have to do both the Techniques & Reactions and the Choreography & Performance Workshop for Swords, rather you can do one Technique & Reactions of Eskrima & Knife and do an Unarmed Choreography & Performance Workshop, etc.

Cancellation Policy
Intensives & Workshops: Credit is no longer available with Take 3 Action Academy should you cancel a booking. All credit given before 1st June 2023 will still be valid until the given 6-month expiry date. Take 3 Action Academy does not permit exchanging between different courses (i.e changing from a Fundamental Workshop to a Screen Combat Intensive) as the levels of experience required differ and spaces are limited. If you wish to transfer your booking to another date please email hello@take3action.com. An Admin Fee of £15 will be charged for all Intensive and Workshop transfers. If you have purchased a Standard Ticket, you are allowed to transfer your course up to 7 days before the Intensive or Workshop start date. Due to the limited number of space in each Intensive, Workshop and Class refunds will be rewarded in accordance with the following guidelines; - Cancellations made more than 14 days before an Intensive, Workshop or Class start date will be subject to a refund of 100% - Cancellations made within 14 days but no later than 7 days before an Intensive, Workshop or Class will be subject to a 50% refund. - Cancellations made within 7 days before an Intensive, Workshop or Class start date will not be subject to a refund and fees will be forfeited by the customer. If you are paying for a Class/Course with an Instalment Plan, all payments are non-refundable and bookings are non-transferable. Please make sure you are available for the entirety of an Intensive, Workshop or Class before booking.
