As always at Take 3 Action Academy all our training is based on the Film & TV industry. This Unarmed Fundamental Workshop is inspired by ‘John Wick’ and 'The Raid'. Get ready for some intense training & be sure to watch the films beforehand to get inspired!! Having a strong understanding of Screen Combat techniques and how your reactions play on screen is vital to performing a fight scene for the camera. The Fundamental Workshops are a great way to start developing and maintaining these skills so that you can have a long and successful career as a Screen Combat performer. The techniques you will learn will range from stance & footwork to hits & falls based on a street style of unarmed combat. It's going to be epic!! This day will demand a lot from you and challenge you in ways you do not expect. This one is not to be missed! NOTE: You can do the Fundamental Workshops in any order and any combination of weapon systems as you wish. For example, you do not have to do both the Techniques & Reactions and the Choreography & Performance Workshop for Swords. Rather you can do one Choreography & Performance Workshop in Unarmed and do a Sword Techniques & Reactions Workshop, etc.

Cancellation Policy
Intensives & Workshops: Credit is no longer available with Take 3 Action Academy should you cancel a booking. All credit given before 1st June 2023 will still be valid until the given 6-month expiry date. Take 3 Action Academy does not permit exchanging between different courses (i.e changing from a Fundamental Workshop to a Screen Combat Intensive) as the levels of experience required differ and spaces are limited. If you wish to transfer your booking to another date please email hello@take3action.com. An Admin Fee of £15 will be charged for all Intensive and Workshop transfers. If you have purchased a Standard Ticket, you are allowed to transfer your course up to 7 days before the Intensive or Workshop start date. Due to the limited number of space in each Intensive, Workshop and Class refunds will be rewarded in accordance with the following guidelines; - Cancellations made more than 14 days before an Intensive, Workshop or Class start date will be subject to a refund of 100% - Cancellations made within 14 days but no later than 7 days before an Intensive, Workshop or Class will be subject to a 50% refund. - Cancellations made within 7 days before an Intensive, Workshop or Class start date will not be subject to a refund and fees will be forfeited by the customer. If you are paying for a Class/Course with an Instalment Plan, all payments are non-refundable and bookings are non-transferable. Please make sure you are available for the entirety of an Intensive, Workshop or Class before booking.
